What is Xmente Business Analysis?

What is a regional trade area and why do you use it?

Xmente starts with creating a Geo-spatial map of your actual customers who have made a purchase during the last two years. This works for retail as well as new construction or other categories. The purpose is to estimate an outer boundary for marketing and to determine number of prospects in conjunction with Xmente’s pool owner data base.

What is a drive time analysis and why do you use it?

Xmente considers drive time analysis to be a leading tool in analyzing pool retail stores, where many patrons are sub consciously drawn to the most logistically convenient location.  Xmente's GIS (geographical information system) based drive time analyses uses digitized roadway systems that indicate the type of road such as a city street or a divided highway. Speed limits are assigned based on the type of road, the mode of transportation (car, truck, motorcycle, etc.) and congestion parameters. Unlike the radius analysis, it accounts for logistical barriers.

What are drive time polygons and retail trade area?

Drive time polygons are maps that identify drive time distance to a defined location. When combined with a Geo-spatial map of your active customers and competitors, it helps define a geographical area to attract new customers.  A well defined drive time polygon creates a key geographic area for focused retail marketing promotion. It is critical that a large percentage of these customers and prospects have regular communications and promotions.

How does Xmente identify prospects not in my POS system?

Xmente built a unique, high quality, proprietary data base of all pool owner addresses in the U.S. It is CASS and NCOA compliant. We deploy custom programs to eliminate duplicates that are in your POS addresses. We built similar data bases for other industry targets such as the most qualified prospects to purchase a new pool.
